Nizar's little barking at Sultan of Johor

So, the Pakatan's former Perak MB Nizar Jamaluddin said it's ok to tell Sultan of Johor what to do and what not to do with his royal highness' money. He seems to think that the Sultan should not spend the half a million ringgit on a car number plate. He said he will only apologise if the Sultan makes it known that he was offended by what he said.

Well Nizar, first of all, the money belong to the Sultan.  So whatever he do with his money is his own business. The Johor royal family is rich. So if the Sultan want some luxury items using his own money, who are we to say he shouldn't. Since your are not a Johorean, then let me tell you Nizar that the Johor royal family have done good for the people of Johor. They do not live on the stipend paid by the State government. That money actually go to royal foundations and to be benefited by the rakyat.

Secondly, the money paid by the Sultan for the plate number go to the government's coffer. The money is for the government to use for the benefit of the people. So, what's wrong with that? It's not like the Sultan was paying for some foreign stuff causing an outflow of our money.

Nizar, being a former MB should know all these. But why does he deem it necessary to make such noises about the Sultan of Johor? Would he made noise if it was a Chinese tycoon who bought thar WWW1 plate number?

The last time he made his complaints known against the royalty was against his own Sultan of Perak, That I can understand lah, as he was pissed because he lost his MB seat and need to lash out at something. Having seen Nizar in action during one of those Pas' ceramah, I know he is very capable of going rabid at those he doesn't like.

But why does he want to bite the Sultan of Johor this time?

The only answer to that question I can think of was that Nizar was actually unhappy with the Sultan of Johor because of his highness' habit of supporting development projects in Johor being attacked by Pas and its Pakatan allies.

The latest being Petronas'   RAPID petroleum hub project in Pengerang. The Sultan, while launching the project earlier this month delivered a strongly worded speech, admonishing those who were opposing the project, describing them as "anti-development instigators".

It was really a royal slap across the face of Johor Pakatan leaders who were opposing the project and trying to turn it into another Lynas issue for the coming general election. From what I understand, the Sultan had went out of his way to deliver that message across, not because he wanted to dwell in politics but rather he was angry that there are those who are out to deny the benefits of development for the rakyat of Johor.

Well, I don't think the Sultan of Johor will lower himself to demand an apology from some biadap Melayu like Nizar.

So, Nizar in his infinite stupidity may think he won this one just because the Sultan is not saying anything. But just wait and see how Johoreans will punish Johor Pas in the coming general election because of this. I know, not all Johoreans are pro-royalty, but I am quite certain the overwhelming majority of them are also not pro-kurang ajar outsiders who think they can spit at a Johor institution...the Sultan of Johor, of all institutions at that.

  2. He explicitly make statement about Rm520k of car plate purchase. He didnt bother or mention anything about other bidders, like WWW5. which shows that he really want to target to HRH Sultan of Johore.

  3. Paying $500,000+ for a number plate...

Translate that into Bahasa Melayu, Tamil, Mandarin, Kadazan, Iban for the benefit of the local communities anywhere in Malaysia.

In these tough economic times, everyone is struggling to survive.

    Enough said.

    1. owh come on...such a lowly person like u. why can't he enjoy luxury like any other people, to his own expenses.

say that if the bidder is some common people, would u think the same? what u say about the other bidders; some chinese tycoon, got few malays too, go ask them do charity with their money?u don't, right?

so the public dictate what the Sultan should do with his money -sigh- those haters should look at themselves and see how much better he fares in 'supporting the benefit of the local communities anywhere in Malaysia' compared to the Sultan. n

  6. would be nicer if the Sultan had given the 500k to the royal foundation. going to the government coffer is not a good idea, if you know what i mean.

  7. Nizar or not, I as a rakyat, do think its just not the right thing for someone in a position, like that of the Sultan, to be flaunting his extravagant whims or whatever you may want to call it, as many of us are struggling even to meet our basic needs. Tak kan langsung tak boleh bersuara beb? Heavenly mandate ke???

Correction. He's a half Melayu who from his past actions has always shown disrespect for anything Melayu. Maybe deep inside he is not even a Melayu.

  10. I think the Sultan has made a good investment. I would have buy the numbers too if I have the money. The value of these unique numbers will appreciate among those who consider them special. It's like a piece work of art. As far as I'm concerned, the Sultan is just an art collector who may make a huge profit if one day he decides to sell that number. Anyway, the fact that the Sultan paid a lot of money for the numbers shows that he is not the type of royalty who simply demands and takes whatever that he wants.

  11. To most Anonymous commentators who think they can tell what others should do with others people money... they could go to hell! If they area so good, then donate their own money to good causes!

Piiiirahhh...

I love my Sultan very much. Daulat Tuanku.

from this issue, you should know why DAP appoint Nizar as Perak MB last time... dia ni keldai dan boleh di keldaikan.

btw how much Nizar paid to JPJ when he bid the plate number for his exco new toyota camry ? all 10 of them ? answer please.

  16. This Nizar is probably not aware that the Sultan also have some 300 cars parked in an aircond garage wathed by a mat salleh.the cars were the top of the range and antiques that even was produced under Nazi Germany and Mercedes wants to buy back. They have all the strategically placed petrol kiosk that sells petrol combined far exceeding than Perlis's and Kelantan's sale in one day. They sells sand and silika by the lorry loads and by the tongkang loads to Spore that JB's highway is jammed with the lorries.
We wont want to tell about real hard and cold cash and also the lands and properties in the tanah Jajahan taklok and also ex tanah jajahan Taklok which is Spore..Orchard Road, Grange road, Tg Pagar etc etc that they owned
So Nizar son of Jamaluddin the pseudo Malay who studied and stay so long a time and money too in UK, on UMNO initiated programme, What is RM 520000? Its chiken feed and chikedees to you and I ok?.Plse

    ReplyDelete
  17. Yep, Nizar should never have targetted the Sultan for his excesses. After all, everyone had targetted Shahrizat for using public funds from the RM 250 million soft loan. Shafie Apdal had given millions into some actress account. Some minister's aide caught will millions in cash in his own house. The lamborghinis, Bentleys and porsches parked in front of hotels.

But I always wondered where these people got their money.....

  25. I am not a fan of Nizar's but it doesn't matter if it is your own money or the rakyat's money: it is the extravagance of wealth from someone in public office that repulses us. 'Your own money' is probably our money too, being gotten from our government projects or businesses benefitted fron your position. In due time. educated malays will realise that having nine royal households is just a burden. Our people are feeding hand to mouth, with not enough to get by. Dont let me start on the history of Umno and why it was us the rakyat who defended the royal institution, while they themselves were preparing to flee to England in exxhange for some allowance and good housing. Rakyat tak boleh bersuara ke? So this is what the Sediton Act was created? to protect some heavenly mandate, like anon above put it?

agree on this but the ultimate quest for them through chaos, revolution, split the malay community through communist thinking propaganda, accusing without justification and most important of all is deception, cheating and manipulation which is the best ultimate weapon of all.

for more than hundred of years this is exactly what they did to the bumiputra community.
