Year One

This blog turns one year old today.

Actually, when I started it, I never really cared whether anyone read it.
This blog is actually a place for me to write whatever crosses my mind. It's actually just a diary of my thoughts of what's happening in this country and a bit of my life.

Nonetheless, I have to admit that it's a pleasure knowing that there are people out there who care to read this humble blog of mine. Thank you all.

Also thanks a million to all who helped me along the way with this blog.

For record purposes, this is a screenshot of a bit of statistics which I took last night.

I don't know whether that's good or bad. I put it here, just so that, hopefully I can compare it with what it's going to be for the next one year. That is if I'm panjang umur or still interested to keep on writing this blog.

Btw, also for the records, I don't have any active facebook or twitter accounts or anything like that.

For those who have been following this blog over the past year, the following picture is that of my humble work station....ehemmm, sorts of :-)

That's the laptop that my friend gave me the other day.  Thanks friend.  I still keep the faulty netbook I had been using before I got that one. Most of my postings were done with me lying on that mattress just before I fall asleep. The crocodile? That one was bought for me by my big sister at Ayer Hitam, Johor. She said it's for scaring away my DAP Chinaman :-) My big sister is a hardcore BN supporter, but not a member of any party. She is also the one who set up this blog for me a year ago because I'm an IT-blind person.

Ok, may you all have a good day today. Cheers.

  1. BigCat, are you really poor or just a minimalist? I'm sure you can afford to buy a bed!

You must be very2 young too I think coz judging by your level of English, I'm sure you have a tertiary education... thus shd be able to get a decent-paying job (if you're older). From your writing, I don't think you're the "boros" kind either..

Maybe you're the kind that keep a minimum of 50% of their income as investment and adhere to the principle "Bersusah-susah dahulu, bersenang-senang kemudian"

Whatever it is... let me know if you wish me to belanja you a bed. Buy IKEA one lah... at least nak pindah senang sikit nak angkut.

  9. When Pakatan takes over Putrajaya, we will give you better premises from which to blog - but blog about wrongdoings on a non-partisan basis. Be a little like Syed Akbar - semua yang tak betoi kena hentam. No need for datukship, just write about what is right and what is wrong.

  11. looking at the picture of the room you stay and work reflects a lot about you big cat, you are a messy, lazy bum, no money to buy a proper bed.btw you shouldnt have the crocodile..you should have that big stuffed tiger that the Malay small traders sells along the roadside to Desaru atop of the car..then with that in your room you really is a big cat.Give me your address I will parcel post/courier to give you one.
As for the pondan crocodile, plse give it to your AGO...he always like to shed crocodile tears

    1. Ah, and here I thought it is an interesting fusion of Japanese Zen and English florals made interesting with the traditional Malay mat and the tropical crocodile. I didn't realise it says "poor, messy, lazy bum" ...

  16. Hey Big Cat, guess what New Strait Times wrote today.

80,000 Malays now attend Chinese schools and that Chinese schools are becoming more multicultural.

So bayangkan, ibubapa Melayu untuk demi masadepan anak-anak mereka kini lebih yakin dengan sekolah Cina and shies the middle finger to sekolah kebangsaan.

Akhirnya, orang Melayu mula celik mata dan tahu kalau nak pelajaran berkualiti tanpa sogokkan agama, the school of choice is sekolah cina.

  19. For all your bleating, you dont have the tits to answer the sensational revealation in NST that 80,000 malay children are now studying in Chinese schools. Instead you ho write another blog. Typical BN pussies. Oi! tau tak apa yang sedang berlaku? Orang Melayu dah mula pinggirkan sekolah Kebangsaan lah! Dah mula tak laku. Paham
