Unlike some who are full-time political macai being paid to glorify their political masters, or being paid to roam the net, denigrating everyone that do not subscribe to their opinions, I have to work to earn a living.
It is a matter of time management, more than anything else. After all, I have to prioritise my activities, and putting food on the table has to take precedence over hobbies.
Without the firm hand and subtle support of the previous MB at the helm, the JCS is left with no choice but to adhere to the changes being dictated to them, to the detriment of their HR development plans that have been put in place for the past few years.
Based on the development in Johor right now, and how the administration of the state is being compromised, I think it is best that I consider a different place to call home.
I am now looking for new options outside of Johor as I find the situation being faced by my friends to be unpalatable. At least it won't affect me directly if I am no longer here.
Regardless of the bright future in this state I call home, I don't think it is a healthy place for me, and it is best to leave while I am ahead.
Haha....khaled nordin will find the road ahead very bumpy, trust me. Last time everybody thought that Ghani was the cause of all the problems in Johor GLCs, slowly but surely people will realise that there are magic hands fr above dictating the admin n business direction of the state affairs. KN will find it tough to deal with his former classmate for sure. On the other hand, JCS also has its fair share of weaknesses n problems. Mostly incompetent esp those pensioners who helm Johor GLCs. Biz in Johor are now very difficult. Everything must be made known and get sanctioned by u know who. Really messy actually if u know the story from the ground.
ReplyDeleteIt's does sound very serious ,was it really that bad ?.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is very bad. At least Ghani has the mettle to minimise the damage wreaked on the poor JCS and Johor GLC management, now there is no one.
DeleteYou have to fight on ,don't give up ,it' will become worse if no one at all have an eye on them,at least keep the Johorean informed .
Deletebigcat i'm not that familiar with the johor issue but it's the best if you be among friend that now and appreciate your talent..where ever it may be..so best of luck..keep your claws tight for a while..show them latter..dont feel down..like the old saying goes..hujan emas negeri oranng hujan batu negeri sendiri lebih baik negeri sendiri..when it's time to return you will know it..hopefully bagai sirih pulang ke gagang..this is what they called perjuangan..mana ada jalan senang.
ReplyDeleteThank you Anon, but I can't help feeling sad leaving the people I consider family and personal friends in this manner ..
DeleteJust write light matters. It is the malay community constant keeping in touch that will shape malay future. The malays cannot go back to being feudal. If Johor go back to being feudal, it is due to lack of understanding of democracy and the right of common people. Every Malay is equal is no mere slogan but something that we have to fight and stand up for.
ReplyDeleteThis is nothing compared to what Malays have to fight for before.
I agree. The political infighting among the Chinese are just as bad, but they don't spill it out into the open. Unless it's really, really bad (eg, MCA). That makes them look united, but actually they are just as fractured. Just look at the factions in DAP, MCA, Gerakan... non-stop backstabbing.
DeleteWhat we should learn from them is, when facing the enemy, present a united front. Keep the bickering in the back room.
When the government is weak, the magic hands will come in and dictate things. The constitution will soon be merely toilet papers.
ReplyDeleteIsn't all these Anwar's fault ? The Red Bean Army's fault ? Hehehehe.....
ReplyDeleteYes, it is partly Anwar's and DAP's fault that has weakened and undermined the Civil Services and government institutions in this country. The government machinery is being attacked from all sides, and the Opposition is acerbating the situation, taking full advantage. You think Opposition agents had no hand in the actions of the hidden hands of Johor? Think again.
DeleteActually yes it is, and more than you think. It was Anwar who brought in money politics in a big way into national politics in UMNO, and then he made it a culture in UMNO.
DeleteOpposition agents ? Those funded by the Jews, the Singapore PAP, the Americans ?
ReplyDeleteNever mind lah, Kuching Besar. The Chinese will develop Johor. Iskandar will be developed by the Chinese from Singapore. Penggerang will be developed by the Chinese from Taiwan. Soon the Singapore MRT will end in JB. Soon the high speed train will also be a JV with Singapore.
Langkah seterusnya pasti bukan nasihat lagi.
Terima Kasih Ampun & Maaf.
Govt should get out of business. Privatise everything and let market forces run the companies. We should prepare the ground rules and assist whatever target group. Cronyism at this scale will result in big losses. Transparency in governance will help cut down on those rent seeking devils. Those who receive land or get projects should be public knowledge .
